Rosa 'BOEgif' - John F. Kennedy Rose

John F. Kennedy Rose is a compact deciduous shrub with an upright habit and glossy rich green foliage. The lightly licorice scented rich white double flowers open with a green hue that fades with age and bloom continuously from late spring into fall.  Best grown in full sun and rich, moist, slightly acidic well-drained soils. John F. Kennedy is a highly disease resistant tea hybrid.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS:  Medium Maintenance. Roses are susceptible to powdery mildew, black spot, rust, and rose rosette and require regular fungicide in humid areas that experience a lot of rainfall.  Pest issues include aphids, borers, scale, mites thrips, midges, and leafhoppers.
LANDSCAPE USES:  Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Naturalized Areas, Wildlife Garden, Foundation Plantings, Trellises, Walls, and Containers.
