Lysimachia lanceolata 'Burgundy Mist' - Burgundy Mist Loosestrife

Burgundy Mist Loosestrife is a compact native herbaceous perennial with a spreading habit of narrow foliage that emerges wine red and slowly greens as it matures.  Small bright yellow flowers bloom in abundance throughout summer.  Best blooms with afternoon shade in the South and moist well-drained soil. 

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance.  Susceptible to leaf spots and rust. The variegation tends to brown if soils are too dry.

LANDSCAPE USES: Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Woodland Gardens, Rock Gardens, and Containers.

COMPANION PLANTS:  Japanese Forest Grass, Wild Bergamont, Catmint
