Lupinus 'Chandelier' - Chandelier Lupine

Chandelier Lupine is a compact herbaceous perennial with a basal mound of narrow rich blue-green palmate foliage.  Tightly packed long spires rise above the foliage sporting large sweet-pea like flowers that blend milky white and buttery yellow tones and bloom from late spring to early summer.  Flowers best in full sun and rich, moist, well-drained soils.  

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance.  Powdery mildew and rot can cause considerable damage if left unchecked.  Dense crowns may rot in poorly drained soils.  Watch for aphids, mealy bugs, slugs, and beetles.

LANDSCAPE USES:  Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Woodland Gardens, Wildlife Garden, Foundational Plantings, and Containers.
