I ordered Beverly on Fortuniana rootstock and was very excited to receive her, but unfortunately, the plant was disappointing. She arrived defoliated in a badly crushed box and never established or produced healthy new growth.

When she bloomed, the flower opened cream-white with no visible pink coloring. I contacted the vendor because Beverly is supposed to be pink. I was initially told that the plant appeared to be mislabeled and that another one would be sent, but I was later encouraged to wait for a cooler-weather flush because the heat might have affected the color.

A few days later, the plant declined completely and died after being repotted. I had kept it on my shaded patio to protect it from the extreme Texas heat, alongside my other potted roses. The vendor ultimately issued a credit, which I appreciate, but I purchased this rose because I wanted a healthy Beverly—not a credit after weeks of waiting and trying to help the plant survive.

Considering the premium price, the condition of the plant, the questionable bloom, and its eventual death, I was very disappointed with this purchase.
