Armeria maritima 'Morning Star Deep Rose' - Morning Star Deep Rose Sea Thrift

Morning Star Deep Rose Sea Thrift is a dense low-growing perennial that forms a tight mound with stiff dark green grass-like foliage.  Global clusters of small deep rose pink clover-like flowers bloom in mid spring to early summer.  Flowers best in full sun and dry well-drained soils.  

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance.  No serious pest or disease issues.  Leaf rot is common in moist, fertile, or clay soils.  
LANDSCAPE USES:  Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Naturalized Areas, Wildlife Garden, Rock Gardens, Xeriscape Gardens, and Containers.
